A 0.7 acre location within Calgary’s Beltline has been bought by Qualex-Landmark, a company based out of Vancouver. The group plans to build a residential tower, their eighth in the area.
The condominium is currently in the developmental planning stage. It will be located at 11 Avenue and 12 Street in the community of Victoria Park.
Qualex-Landmark is no stranger to the vicinity, with more a thousand residences developed or in development over the last decade in the Beltline and with real estate sales in excess of $370 million. They are also well known for their condo towers Stella, Nova, and Luna built in the community of Connaught.
The Beltline is a well developed community where people have lots of easy access to services they need and amenities they want. In addition, because of the ideal location people are able to walk to where they need to go, making it a great fit for those that can't or don't want to depend on their own vehicle.
“That works really well for a new home to be able to move in right away,” said the vice president of planning and marketing for Qualex-Landmark, Parham Mahboubi.
Qualex-Landmark recently completed the 35 storey Mark on 10th tower where all 274 homes quickly sold. Also in development is Park Point which will consist of 500 homes in two towers and will look over Central Memorial Park. The president of Qualex-Landmark Mohammed Esfahani understands that people are drawn to city living and the convenience that comes with it. Residents are close to work and play as well as the many shops and services downtown offers.
